About The Artist

My name is Harvey Bilisoly. I have been drawing and painting-principally architecture-  for fifty years. Originally from Norfolk, Virginia, I have now relocated to Richmond. It is a beautifully scenic city..what a friend once described as a "Little Big Town". Distinct in it's southern charm, it contains some of the most picturesque buildings and homes I've ever seen amassed in one place. I have spent time in every major American city, and this is among the loveliest and most incandescent..it just pulses with emotive energy. I draw every day from the street, and eschew working from photographs as they tend to skew the scene. Please take a look at my work and let me know what you think!
